The veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee who has been a pillar to the Bengalwood industry is now adding another feather to his cap. Well, he is getting the lifetime achievement award.
 
Sources say this would be given by the government of Bengal and it would be presented by chief minister Mamata Banerjee. Soumitra Da was close to the leftist government but still he is getting this.
 
It is heard that the award would be given away at a special program which would be held on July 24th the death anniversary of Mahanayak Uttam Kumar. This should be nice.
