A new movie which has been much awaited among the Bengal folks is Ullas and now it has hit the screens. Reports are coming from various corners that the film has got a mixed response.
 
Directed by Shatabdi Roy, the film is a compilation of three different stories and it also marks the debut of the famous writer Mahasweta Devi as an actor.
 
The reaction is that the technical values and performances of the cast is very good but the narrative was not that engaging. However, the film touches a very sensitive issue which got good marks.
