Recently the government came up with a decision to levy 12.36% service tax on film and television actors. This has not gone too well with the actors of the Bengalwood circuit.
 
Sharing his thoughts, superstar Prosenjit reportedly asked if the Bengal cinema industry has made such a growth over the past that such a tax has been imposed. He added that it was ridiculous.
 
For actor Jeet this is nothing less than a shock. He reportedly stated that this is not like a petrol hike. This decision is sure to affect the regional circuit very badly as audience would be reduced.
