So far, the famous writer Mahasweta Devi has been seeing many of her works getting converted into movies but now it is heard that she is all set to be seen on the screen.
 
This is happening for the film Ullas and this is a compilation of three stories which have been written by Mahasweta herself. Now, the buzz is that she would be seen essaying the role of herself.
 
Her presence will be in one story titled as Dour which revolves around the death of a tribal during the recruitment drive for police constables. This is being directed by Ishwar Chakraborty.
