Recently the demigod of the Bengali masses Mithun Chakraborty turned 62 and though he keeps a low profile, he has been a strong inspiration to many aspiring youngsters of cinema.
 
Having worked in more than 350 films and most of them in Bollywood, Mithun Da's shot to fame was the film Mrigayaa in 1976 when he won the national award for best actor.
 
From then on, he came up with many movies like Hamara Sansar, Do Anjaane, Guru, Heroes etc. His immortal project has been Disco Dancer which made him the icon of the country.
