So far, the handsome hero Dev has been considered the best bet for commercial Bengali movies but now it is heard that he is coming out of his comfort zone and stepping into alternative cinema.
 
News is that he has been approached to essay the role of Goopi and Baagha. This is being done by Rangan Chakravarthy and Dev has reportedly showed interest to work in it.
 
As for the copyright issue, Sandip Ray has reportedly mentioned that if Rangan comes up with a good product he would not have any issues with it. This should be interesting.
