Lately the Bengalwood films have been making good profits at the box office and it has been winning critical acclaim too. However, one man has reportedly termed it as a compromise.
 
He is the iconic moviemaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan. Sharing his thoughts, Adoor reportedly mentioned that the Bengal cine circuit has given in to the demands of the commercial market.
 
Sources say Adoor termed movies like Autograph, Baishe Srabon, Moner Manush, Ichche, Uro Chithi have been sleeper hits and they are just Khichidi. He stressed that directors should make films on their terms.
