Los Angeles, Aug 18 : Marvel studios have
confirmed a sequel to the 2012 superhero movie "The Avengers" and the
project will be once again helmed by Joss Whedon.
Walt Disney
studios has announced a release date for Marvel's sequel to the biggest
superhero blockbuster and third highest-grossing film of all time "The
Avengers".
The film is scheduled to release May 1, 2015, reports contactmusic.com.
"Joss
Whedon returns to write and direct the untitled Marvel's Avengers
sequel, set for release (on) May 1, 2015," the producers said in a
statement.
