London, July 28 :  Singer Katy Perry wonders whether internet was doing any good to the society.

"Someone please pull the plug on the internet. Does it really better us as humans," Perry wrote on Twitter, according to contactmusic.com.

The 27-year-old is one of the most prominent celebrity Twitter users, and has over 23 million followers. She regularly interacts with her fans through the micro-blogging site.
