It was the most awaited show at HDIL India Couture Week 2010 and Salman Khan did not disappoint the large crowds gathered to witness it.  Teaming up with Forevermark, a diamond brand from the De Beers group of companies which was the official Partner of HDIL India Couture Week 2010, "The Couture for a Cause - The Being Human Show" by Salman Khan had a glamorous gathering of top heroines of the silver screen with whom Salman had hit films.

The Being Human extravaganza was divided into the various colourful fashion and film decades starting with the Roaring 20s as Preity Zinta opened the show in a flouncy black belted glittering dress teamed with a wide brim matching hat and the fabulous geometric shape diamond earrings crafted by Rosy Blue.

Onto the Tantalizing 30s it was the sexy and beautiful Katrina Kaif in a deep red slinky velvet gown accessorized by a solitaire diamond and ruby necklace with pearl drops crafted by Shrenuj and diamond and ruby drop earrings by Rosy Blue.

For the fantastic 40s when it was the age of qawalis and anarkali there was Rani Mukherjee to create the role as she swirled her way down the ramp in a white kalidar lehenga with black velvet embroidered border and a rich long sleeved black velvet zardozi embellished blouse. Her jewellery was the 65.9 carat haat phool designed by Mona Mehta and diamond and pearl drop earrings both crafted by Rosy Blue

For the Flirty 50s Bipasha Basu in a sultry black halter gown and a dramatic gold satin cape wore a diamond wave cuff from Rosy Blue and two diamond geometric rings designed by Dimexon.During the Sexy 60s which was the era of Elvis Presley and Shammi Kapoor the rocking  music set the mood for Karisma Kapoor who swung down the catwalk in a gorgeous red hot net sari with glittering silver zardozi border displaying a diamond and ruby choker by Rosy Blue with diamond and pearl long drop earrings by Shrenuj.

During the Sensual 70s the era of love, the flower child and music Sushmita Sen glided down to the strains of the hit song Dum Maro Dum wearing tiny gold hot pants and bikini top with a flowing floral print chiffon kaftan and accessorized it with a hearts and diamonds in a seventies styling by Dimexon.

The Enlightened 80s was for Priyanka Chopra in a cute white and black layered net mini dress with wide black belt and corset blouse wearing a diamond neck piece by Rosy Blue.

Finally the Naughty 90s was an era when women wanted to break free and Kareena Kapoor's entry in a black satin tuxedo suit over a glittering black bustier and a string of solitaires by Shrenuj was the perfect creation to highlight the era.

Taking a bow Salman Khan in striking red denims teamed with a black velvet jacket edged with red trims down the sleeves and neck by Arjun Khanna made a dramatic entry to the throbbing beats of the Sachin Mondal Band from Kolkata who were the finalists in the India's Got Talent Contest on TV recently.

The finale was reserved for the eight Bollywood Divas who swept on to the runway wearing denim jeans or shorts and vibrant coloured Being Human Tees. The appropriate clothes for the different decades were designed by Manish Malhotra, Raakesh Agarvwal, Gauri and Nainika, Sunaina Puri, Rohit and Rahul.

Salman launched his watches and the Being Human T shirts in India and the international markets at the show.

Adding zing to the show were the energetic dancers who set the mood for the different decades by doing some nifty steps ranging from Broadway numbers to tap dance, mujras and some great choreographed movements.

What a rollicking end it was to the fourth day of the HDIL India Couture Week 2010 with Bollywood's top hero, Salman Khan bringing to earth the beautiful stars of India for a great cause like Being Human.
