Subhan Aziz had a simple iftari party to celebrate his maiden film Bas Ek Tamanna at a suburban city hotel. And interestingly, it coincided with the Independence day celebrations. Sufi singer Mudasir Ali, Aditya Singh Rajput, Sameer Aftab, Pitobash, Pawan Shankar, Abhinav Gautam, Aparajita Ray, Vishwajeet and Sonalika Pradhan, Richa Sony, Bharat Kapoor, his director son Rahul Kapoor, Javed Ali, Narendra Singh, Arshad Siddiqui, and a whole horde of celebs thronged the celebrations.
Mudasir Ali regaled audiences with soul-stirring sufi numbers and the menu was mind-blowing. Seems, Subhan Aziz's better half did the personal selection of menu to make the evening worthwhile for her guests.
Said Subhan, "my business keeps me out of the country mostly. Bas Ek Tamanna is to give back to m country what it has given me. I felt that an independence day iftari party would be the best way to pay my respects to my motherland." We sure agree.
