Story: A good tale gone bad, the story begins with Iswarya (ileana), daughter of central home minister Mahadevarayalu (prabhu) who is keen on enjoying life but her daddy doesn't allow her due to security reasons. Incidentally, Mahadevarayalu has got a task on hand. A powerful weapon Rudrashoolam and a divine Jwalamukhi are to be brought together so that pooja has to be performed. However, an evil queen Fakhtoom (pooja) also wants them as she wants to gain powers and destroy the country. Meanwhile, Iswarya escapes along with her friends and fate gets her to Shakti (NTR) who becomes their guide. Fakhtoom decides to kidnap Iswarya to get the Shoolam and Jwalamukhi but Shakti protects her at many points. However, there is a link to Shakti, Iswarya, the Shoolam and Jwalamukhi. What is that link and what happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was alright, the narrative was very bad. The dialogues were regular, the script was weak and the screenplay was terrible. Background score was good but songs could have been better. Cinematography is alright. Editing was moderate but had many jerks. Costumes were poor. The art department was the only thing to wonder about along with the visual effects. NTR junior was alright but his role was not that power packed, his effort was sincere though. Ileana gives a visual feast in songs and performs as required. Sonu Sood was brief, Pooja Bedi was dramatic, Jackie Shroff was stylish, Prabhu was standard, Nasser was impressive, S P Balu was okay, Ali was average, Brahmi was weak, the others didn't have much to offer.

Conclusion: The film has come in as the costliest movie ever made in Tollywood but to be frank, that sort of expense is not seen onscreen. While the first half was average, the second half was dragging and had many illogical sequences. The technical values and production values were good but it is the director who was unable to handle the project. He doesn't have the maturity to execute such concept. At the box office, it will have good opening but success is highly doubtful. Bharatstudent verdict: Disappointing!!! |
