Story: Vicky (prabhas)
who lives in Australia believes that everything should be perfect in life and is
practical in his approach. His father (nasser) wants Vicky to marry Priya
(kajal), daughter of his friend (murali mohan). Vicky comes to India to attend
the marriage of his sister and he also gets to meet Priya. Their initial
take-off is bumpy but in no time Priya begins to like him and falls in love with
him. So much that she is willing to let go of her likes for Vicky's happiness.
As expected, Vicky turns the proposal down due to his thinking about living life
on one's own terms. He comes back to Australia and meets Maggi (taapsee) through
a competition. He feels she is the ideal partner for him and challenges with her
father (prakashraj) who is opposing it. What happens from there forms the rest
of the story.

Presentation: The
director has come up with a noble storyline and while the presentation was nice,
the narrative was not upto the mark. The dialogues were fitting, the script was
written without much flaws but the screenplay was mediocre. Background score was
effective and three songs were the highlight. Cinematography was top notch.
Editing was required during the second half. Costumes were excellent while the
art department was matching the situations and looked apt. Prabhas gave a good
performance and he looks stylish. Kajal Agarwal was lovely and she looks very
pretty in traditional dresses, performance wise she scores in emotional scenes.
Taapsee looks glamorous and made her presence felt. Nasser was natural,
Prakashraj was brief but good, Sayaji was okay, Brahmi failed to impress, Raghu
Babu was loud, the lady artistes such as Pragathi, Rajitha, Tulasi filled the
screen and contributed.

Conclusion: The film
takes off on a bright note and though there is nothing novel in the concept, it
is the narrative and the breezy pace which takes it smoothly. However, things
change during the second half and the pace comes down. There is an overdose of
emotional melodrama and few critical scenes don't have the required conviction.
Technically, the film is well made and the intention of the makers is also
appreciable. However, if there was focus on comedy and emotional quotient, the
film would have tasted proper success. At the box office, this will be a
reasonable grosser. Bharatstudent Verdict: Decent
family treat, just okay..
