Story:
A different tale with a message, the story begins with Das (srikanth) who is a street side ruffian and he would do anything for money. Then there is Dada (jayaprakash reddy) who is the local MLA and things take a turn when Kalarani (jyothi) decides to take over a slum to come up with fab city. Dada intervenes and all this is for money. Meanwhile, Das decides to get into movies and expects Dada's help. He joins Dada's gang and does all wrong things. On the other hand, he also falls in love with Krishnaveni (bhavana), the lawyer. In no time, he realizes the plot of Dada and challenges him. He decides to start his own party and Ballary (jagan), a staunch patriot enlightens him on Gandhi and his philosophy. Whether the rugged and savage Das changes or not forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a thought provoking message and though the presentation was good, the narrative was not appealing overall. The dialogues had political satire, the script was okay, the screenplay was good. Background score was nice, two songs can be taken home, cinematography was brilliant, editing was crisp. Costumes were okay but the art department did a very good job. Srikanth came up with one of his best performances and he danced well and looks handsome. Bhavana was a wrong choice, she was not looking good in any angle, Jayaprakash Reddy was excellent. Uttej was upbeat, Paruchuri was normal, Brahmanandam was brief, Jyothi was sensuous, Charmee's song was good, Navaneet was sexy in her song, the others didn't contribute much to the film.

Conclusion:
The film came in with the Gandhian philosophy and has given a true picture of today's society. While the first half takes off with flying colors and keeps the audience engaged, the second half faltered at few places due to unwanted songs and a rather stale climax. However, the idea of bringing in Gandhiji was a good thought and the makers made it a point to convey it to the protagonist in a convincing manner. though there is lack of depth in the story , the film must be able to get its marks based on the word of mouth and due to the political genre. Lack of entertainment is another feature that will go against the movie.
