Diary Tollywood Movie Review
Story:
A good tale taken poorly, the story begins with Vamsi (sivaji) who comes to Vizag in search of buying property. He meets the real estate man K K (Dr sivaprasad) and finally goes to a beach side house just on the outskirts. There he chances upon a dancer Maya (shraddha) and due to a twist of incidents, she stays overnight with him. Meanwhile, Vamsi comes across a diary in the home and he starts reading this. Slowly, he begins to experience few weird things and Vamsi reads the story about Albert (Sridhar) and Mona (sajita) in the diary. Meanwhile, Maya begins to act unusually and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has attempted to come up with a good storyline and though the presentation was good, the narrative has fallen flat. The dialogues were okay, the script was written very weak, the screenplay was apt. Background score was neat and the two songs were tolerable, full marks to the cinematography and the clarity, angles and lighting effects were impressive. Editing was okay. Sivaji came with yet another good performance and though his character was not etched well, he gave life to the role. Shraddha Das was good with her expressions and she looked seductive at few scenes. Sridhar Rao was stiff, he needs to improve. Sajitha was okay. Dr Siva Prasad was good, Jeeva just came and went. The others did not have much to offer.

Conclusion:
The film came up with a very interesting storyline but then it lost out completely on the pace. While the entire first half was dragging slow, it is not until the interval time that the film picks up. Few flaws were seen clearly in direction and he was unable to extract the performance out of the artistes. There were not many shock points in the film as it was projected but then the technical values of the film and the performance of Sivaji were the saving grace. The film is a passable treat for this season.

Bharatstudent Verdict: Slow and dull, just passable
