Chirutha Tollywood Movie Review

Story:
Charan (Ram Charan) will have a flash back of losing his father in the hands of Mattu Bhai (Aashish Vidyarthi) who takes his abode in Thailand. He plans to take revenge on him. In the process, he moves to Thailand as a travel agent and settles in Bangkok. He works on parallel track to trace out the goon and put an end to them.

In the meanwhile, he meets Sanjana (Neha), who comes as tourist to Bangkok. She is the daughter of a rich industrialist (Prakash Raj) in India. Thailand is shown in very interesting way in this film. The humorous side of the film starts there and Ali's comedy as a body massage broker brings many laughs. Ali is not only the owner of a massage center but also a eunuch. He desires for sex-transformation but the process of transformation stops amidst. That way he remains half man and half woman. Comedy is sufficient in the film with Ali, Dharmavarapu and MS Narayana.

The story runs very smooth with humor till the interval bang. The interval moments are not at all thrilling for audience as no unexpected suspense will rise.Second half is pale and routine with expected story line. There is no bend in the tale. The slow narration goes to the culmination where Charan kills Mattu Bhai and unites with Sanjana (Neha).

Chirutha Telugu Cinema Review

Notable Things about Ram Charan:
Ram Charan's dances, stunts and base voice are impressive Resembling Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan in performance is quite natural but he should try to have his unique style. One thing is for sure - he has all that to make it a next generation MEGA STAR.

Disappointing Acts Of Puri:
He has chosen an old beaten formula by adopting Kaho Na Pyar Hai in second half. He did mistake by writing the screenplay without giving scope for right conflict. He has simply concentrated on the aspect that Ram Charan should be projected as macho man and gave dumb mind for story line.

Laudable Deeds Of Ashwini Dutt:
The production values of the film are marvelous and it never appears that we are watching a debut film of a young hero. Running the story line in Bangkok to large extent provided ample scope for action episodes with new look.

Good Things Of Mani Sharma:
He has given catchy tunes for all songs. The folk song in second half is interesting and haunts for a while.

Other Casting:
Neha is simple and nothing big in her. There would have been a right attempt to rope in more beautiful actress. Aashish Vidyarthi's villainy appears in the starting and in climax again. Prakash Raj is apt as responsible father of Neha.

Chirutha Filem Review

Highlights

  • Ram Charan Tej has lived upto the expectations as he emerges as a packaged Showman of Tollywood.
  • Neha is buxsome and lively.
  • Ali's Comedy as Nachimi, who remains half man-half woman.
  • Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam's rendering of humorous dialogues.
  • Characterization of Brahmanandam as Krish, the captain of a yacht.
  • Comedy of MS Narayana as Baabi, the owner of a travel agency in Thailand.

Conclusion:
The film is made with complete mass punch. The story line is weak but on a whole it's an expensive extravaganza on silver screen. Ashwini Dutt has got the credit of giving big stand for young heroes in Tollywood. It is sure that Ram Charan has very bright future. He did in a highly commendable way in the debut itself. It is sure that he shines well and gives out the best down the line. The film may please fans in all forms but for everyone, Ram Charan is good.

Bharatstudent Verdict: Watch it For Ram Charan's performance and Vyjayanthi banner's production values.
