Story: Set on the backdrop of the Outer Ring Road near Hyderabad, a gated community exists and a newly married couple Harsha (harshavardhan rane) and his wife Mohini (poorna) take house number 101 to start their new life. But in that house lives one more person without the knowledge of the couple. Whatever Mohini does, that person keeps following like a shadow but no one knows his presence. The story takes a turn when this invisible spirit starts becoming violent and begins to torture Mohini. What happens after that forms the rest of the tale. |
Presentation: The director has come up with a thrilling storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was gripping. The dialogues were good, the script was well written and the screenplay was strong. Background score was haunting and songs were not there. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was crisp. Costumes were neat and sensuous while the art department was creative. The show belonged to Poorna who has given a very involving performance, she has a natural sex appeal which is hard to miss. Harshavardhan Rane was blank and could not do emotional scenes rightly. Gayatri was okay. Ravi Babu made his presence felt. The child artist did his part well. Sudha, Chalapathi Rao, Jeeva, Delhi Rajeswari did their bit as required. |
Conclusion: The maker has claimed that the film is based on a real life incident which was narrated to him by one of his heroines from his earlier movie. Keeping that aside, this has been made very well with the right kind of shock moments and entertainment. While the first half is layered properly and the interval bang was prompt the second half dips in the momentum and climax is hastened up, even the length could have been trimmed. But still, the film has enough material to thrill and entertain the audience. Given its budget and the quality, the box office is sure to score good profits and achieve success. Bharatstudent verdict: Well made horror treat, strongly recommended |
