Alasyam Amrutham Tollywood Movie Review
An unusual tale, the story is set on the backdrop of the Annavaram railway station and the wait is for the Simhadri express. Here comes Ram who is all set to go to the US and on the other hand, there is Vaidehi (madalasa) who escapes from home only to commit suicide to avoid a marriage against her wish. Also waiting for the train are a group of Krishna devotees (ashok rao, gundu sudarshan), a Christian devotee (dharmavarapu), a family man (siva reddy & others) etc. Meanwhile, Ram discovers Vaidehi's intentions and from then on, he decides to stop her from committing suicide. In this process, he also takes the help of Aditya (arvind) and whether he is successful in this or not forms the rest of the story.
Alasyam Amrutham Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a rather illogical storyline but then he has packed it well with somewhat okay narrative. The dialogues were entertaining, the script was not logical but the screenplay was better. Background score was okay and one song was nice. Nothing special is in cinematography. Editing was abrupt in few places. Costumes were constant and the art department was simple. Nikhil was energetic as usual and he did his best to the role. Madalasa looks seductive and she has that appeal in her which is quite erotic. Arvind Krishna is the one to watch out for, he has the right kind of physique and sharp looks with a personality that a proper hero needs. His body language is positive and he has shown potential. Dharmavarapu was hilarious, AVS was entertaining, Siva Reddy was okay, Ali brought few smiles, M S was regular, Raghu Babu was okay, the others contributed in their own way.
Alasyam Amrutham Filem Review
The film is more of a time pass comedy entertainer so one cannot expect it to have reason or logic in its plot. While the first half goes about with the regular elements of comedy and some romance, it is the second half that has a bit of seriousness, a message for the audience and some melodrama mixed with sentiment and romance. Overall, the film scores on the comedy aspect and though there are jerks here and there, the overall feel of the film was quite simple. Given the cost with which it was made, the film is bound to enter profit zone in no time.
