Velaiyilla Pattathari Kollywood Movie Review
Raghu (dhanush) is a engineering graduate from civil branch but despite trying for jobs from four years he doesn’t get it. Part of it is due to his honesty and practical approach towards things. For that matter, even his younger brother Karthik is also earning very well. Meanwhile, Raghu falls for his neighbour girl Shalini (Amala Paul) but faces disappointment as she is working and earning well. Whether his life sees the much needed change or not forms the rest.
Velaiyilla Pattathari Tamil Cinema Review
The director has come up with a realistic storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was quite absorbing. The dialogues were well written. The script was above average and the screenplay made it lot better. The background score was melodious and three songs were worth watching. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was crisp. Costumes were well designed to suit the royalty while the art department was majestic. The film belongs to Dhanush who has shouldered the entire film without a hitch and created a good impact. Amala Paul was competent as the simple girl and she scored. Samuthirakani was superb, Vivek added his share of value, Saranya Ponvannan was standard, Surabhi was neat, others did their bit as required.
Velaiyilla Pattathari Filem Review
It is always nice to see a story that comes with a touch to reality and when a talented performer like Dhanush takes it up, it goes to a new level. In this film, the first half goes around with elements of comedy, some romance and also some drama. The interval bang was promising and the second half revolves around the elements of determination, some action and most importantly an intensity to survive and succeed. Overall, this is a film which would appeal to all genres of audience. At the box office, success is written all over it.
