Thillalangadi Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
A racy tale, the story begins with Krishna (ravi) who is a happy go lucky guy and doesn't do things unless he feels the 'kick' out of it. He sees Nisha (tamannah) and falls for her at first sight. Eventually, love blooms and all goes well but soon Nisha discovers that Krishna had lied about his job. So she leaves him and an arranged marriage alliance comes to her in the form of a honest and tough cop (shaam). This happens in Malaysia and the cop comes on a special mission. He is assigned the task of catching a high profile thief. The thief happens to be Krishna. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a interesting storyline and though the presentation was good, the narrative could have been sharp at few places. The dialogues were entertaining, the script was quick and the screenplay was apt. Background score was good but songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography was masterly. Editing was crisp. Costumes were excellent and the art department was neat. Jeyam Ravi looks handsome as ever and he did his role well. Tamannah is a vision of beauty and glamour, she provides full visual feast, Vadivelu was usual but still he manages to get laughs, Radha Ravi was elegant, Shaam was superb, Prabhu and Suhasini were decent, Santhanam was standard.

Conclusion:
The film is basically a remake of the Telugu movie 'Kick' which turned out to be a super hit. However, the original had good songs as well which were missing in the Tamil version. While the first half goes about on the lighter side, the real momentum picks up during the second half and it is the pace of the film that really keeps the viewer busy than the content or the storyline. Technical values were another highlight. Overall, the film will be a profit grosser given the names associated with it.
