Solla Solla Inikkum Kollywood Movie Review

A love tale done meekly, the story is about the happy go lucky youngster Satya (navadeep) who completes his graduation and has got his group of friends in the form of Guru (abhinay), Sathyan (sathyan) and others. Satya's life takes a turn when he chances upon Saara (anjali) and falls in love with her. However, Saara turns him down stating she was only looking at him as a friend and nothing more. Later, Satya meets another beautiful girl in the form of Meghna (suja) and just before he wants to confess his feelings, she shrugs it as a time pass affair. Finally, Satya meets Radhika (madhumita) and while he convinces himself that it is indeed love, he discovers to his shock that Radhika and Guru are in love with each other. However, a twist in the tale occurs and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Solla Solla Inikkum Tamil Cinema Review

The director has come up with a plot that has got good twists but then he has not been able to impress with his narrative. The dialogues were alright, the script had few loose ends and the screenplay was not gripping. Background score and music were okay but the real show stealer was the cinematography. Editing could have been better, costumes were apt and the art department was also effective. Navadeep came up with a challenging performance and did his bit well, Madhumita was matured, Suja was sensuous, Anjali was apt for her role. Abhinay contributed well while Mallika Kapoor was brief, Prakashraj was at his best once again, Ashish Vidyarthi was not used to the fullest, Santhanam was alright. The others just came and went.

Solla Solla Inikkum Filem Review

The film happens to be a good love story with twists but then the maker failed in getting it the right voltage and punch to keep the audience engaged. While the first half goes about with the fun and regular romance, things get serious in the second half and suddenly, a rather entertaining movie becomes a tale of sentiment and melodrama. Overall, the film impresses in parts but then it lacks the rhythm and continuity to cause an impact.
