Sivapuram Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
A tale of black magic, the story begins with Ananth (Prithvi) who comes from the US to a remote village in Kerala known as Sivapuram. Apparently, he is here to fulfill the wish of his mother (Revathy) and light the lamps in the Siva temple that is situated in his ancestral home. But then, there is trouble in the form of the evil black magician Digambara (Manoj) who does not want that. The only person who can control Digambara is Chemban (Kalabhavan) who is an expert martial artist but then he is made by blind by the magician. Also, he uses Chemban's sister Bhama (Riya Sen) for his long standing mission. That is to get the Nagamanikyam which will make him the most powerful person. However, Ananth and his girlfriend Bhadra (Kavya) fall as obstacle to Digambara and who gets to be the winner forms the rest of the story.
Sivapuram Tamil Cinema Review
Presentation:
The director has come up with a supernatural subject but then the narration and presentation have been convincing enough to make the audience believe it for a while. The script was written with conviction, the dialogues were normal and the screenplay was remarkable. Full marks go to the cinematography for capturing the scenic locales and even music was apt to the surroundings. Editing was neat, the costumes were matching. Prithviraj looked good as a modern guy and his performance was impressive, Kavya was sensuous and seductive, Riya looked steaming hot, Kalabhavan was suitable. The real show stealer was Manoj Jayan who really caused few shivers to the audience with his scary look. The others need no mention here.

Conclusion:
The film happens to be a dubbing of the Malayalam hit Ananthabhadram and it is one of those famous black magic flicks of Kerala. While the first half goes about with the building of the plot, the second half revolves around the fight between good and evil. Technically, the film was well made and there was a sensuous touch to this somewhat different genre of film. Those who are looking for variety and something unusual will like this. Mass audience may not relish it much except for Riya and Kavya.

Bharatstudent Verdict: Magical and visually delightful
