Sattapadi Kutram Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
A tale with a message, the story begins with two convicts Thangarasu (vikranth), Surya (harish kalyan) who are facing death sentence but they get kidnapped by a gang. Eventually, they discover that this was the plan of one Chandrabose (sathyaraj) who is more of a revolutionary leader living in the forest and running a parallel government. He believes in cleaning the society from corruption and wants more young minds to join his system. In this process, he also kidnaps few key judiciary members, police officials, media folks. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a thought provoking old storyline and while the presentation was alright, the narrative was good. The dialogues were charged up, the script was okay and the screenplay was smooth. Background score was alright but songs were usual and nothing special. Cinematography was average. Editing was crisp. Costumes were different while the art department was natural and appealing. Sathyaraj reminds of Che Guevara in his outfit and carries his role with élan, Vikranth was good, Harish Kalyan was effective, Seeman was pumped up, Bhanu was adequate, Aishwarya was pretty while Jayasri was okay.

Conclusion:
The film takes off on a different note and given the genre, the plot begins to build up with each passing scene. The idea behind the film is commendable as it deals with today's society and its problems. However, there must also be enough reason and logic in the narrative so that the audience is convinced with the message. Overall, this is a film which starts off with a appreciable notion but didn't have the right approach to connect with the audience. This could be an average grosser at the box office.
