Salim Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
Salim (vijay) is a doctor who believes staunchly in Gandhiism and is honest to the core. But this earns him only criticism and enemies in this materialistic world. To get rid of his loneliness, Salim decides to get married and he meets Nisha (aksha). Everything looks perfect but Nisha’s lack of maturity and her eccentricity ends up in calling the wedding off. Devastated by all other incidents including this, Salim decides to quit the path of righteousness and go by his instincts. What happens from there forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was good in parts. The dialogues were sensible. The script was predictable and the screenplay had decent twists. The background score was melodious and two songs were worth watching. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was required at few places. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was correct. Vijay Antony carried out his role in the right manner and did well. Aksha has made a confident debut and she fits the bill. Manohar was neat, Swaminathan was standard, Aruldass was apt, Premgi Amaren made his presence felt.

Conclusion:
The concept of a good man turning bad and revolting against the society is familiar but it is the emotion connected with the subject that makes it interesting. In this film, the attempt was good. The first half revolves around the layering of the plot and is filled with elements of romance and some drama. The interval bang was interesting. The second half had its share of hiccups but the overall effect has been worthwhile. If only some conviction was shown in the turning points of the film it would have been great. At the box office, the film will appeal to the thinking audience and it can reach a safe zone.
