Sa Boo Thri Kollywood Movie Review
A youth oriented tale, the story is about three friends. First is Pal (arshad) whose only objective in life seems to be after elder women and having a relationship with them. Then there is Akshay (bala) his roommate who seems to be changing his lovers like handkerchiefs. Between the two, there is Keerthi Kumar (prajin) who is married to Jo (sara) but for some reason, their relationship seems to be on the rocks. So they find their solace through mobiles and internet. A sequence of events happen when their lives cross paths and what happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Sa Boo Thri Tamil Cinema Review
The director has come up with a standard storyline and it appears that he seems to have lifted quite a bit from Bollywood stuff. Though the presentation was alright, the narrative was not that great. The dialogues were having double meaning, the script was weak and the screenplay was average. Background score and music was alright but not worthy songs. Cinematography was decent. Editing could have been better. Costumes were trendy, art department was creative and the pace of the film was moderate. Arshad Khan tried his best to fit in the role but he could have been better, Prajin was neat, Bala was okay, Sara looked sensuous and did few bold scenes as well, Ujjaini was apt, Mithuna was brief, Aksha didn't have much to offer. The others didn't have enough scope to perform.
Sa Boo Thri Filem Review
The film seems to be a typical metro centric movie but then there is not much originality in the flavor. A lot of characters and scenes have been taken from movies like 'Dil Chahta Hai' and other Bollywood flicks. While the first half tries to appease with crass comedy and double entendres, things get a bit serious during the second half and the eventual ending. Though the concept was okay, it is the poor narration, weak script and mild pace that takes away the interest in the film. This is likely to sink.
Bharatstudent Verdict: Below average.
