Story: A routine tale, the story begins with Surya (jyothikrishna) who is a happy go lucky boy and uses the name of love to befriend girls. For some reason, things don’t really work for him as girls don’t come to him. However, his life takes a turn when he comes across Preethi (divya) and starts chasing her. After a lot of follow-up Preethi also begins to fall in love with him and when she decides to take it to the next step, she discovers that Surya was just using her as a bait. Hurt by this, Preethi and her father leave the town. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The director has come up with a regular storyline and while the presentation was usual, the narrative was not that appealing. The dialogues were stale. The script was not having strength and the screenplay was below the mark. Background score was okay and songs failed to make the impact. Cinematography was regular. Editing was necessary in second half. Costumes were trendy and the art department was rich. Jyothikrishna gave a sincere performance and he can grow. Divya Bhandari was glamorous and has good sex appeal. Kanja Karuppu was boring, Rani was regular, Thalaivasal Vijay did his bit as required. The others didn’t have much scope to offer.

Conclusion: The idea of having a love related story with some twists is a common theme but for such a topic to be successful, there has to be a good grip over the script and an engaging screenplay. This was not the case in this movie. While the first half goes about with the lighter elements of comedy, songs and then the romance, the second half gets into the serious mode. However, the confusion was still there as to whether this is a comedy flick or a serious one. Overall, the film is good in parts. At the box office, this will be a below average grosser.
