Newtonin 3am Vidhi Kollywood Movie Review
A routine tale, the story begins with the hero Guru (suryah) who is a fashion designer but he is standing at the grave of his fiancée whom he loved the most. She is none other than Priya (sayali) who is a very beautiful and intelligent TV anchor. Guru is disturbed by her death since she is raped and murdered and he begins his own form of investigation. This leads him to the main culprit and that happens to be the very popular and highly respected media tycoon JP (Rajeev). However, Guru does not confront him directly. He makes his own groundwork and spends almost an year collecting all information. Then he throws a challenge to JP and what starts from there is a race to get at each other. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Newtonin 3am Vidhi Tamil Cinema Review
The director gets no special attention for the story as it is pre-historic but then he scores largely in twisting the script and narrating it in a different manner. The dialogues are sensible, the script was smart and the screenplay is convincing. Music scored in terms of the songs and the background score and they are appealing. Cinematography was neat, editing was upto the mark. Costumes were trendy and locations were apt. S J Suryah has come up with a decent performance in this time unlike his regular sleazy acts, Sayali was deliciously seductive and it pains to see her die. Rajiv was equally bad and did full justice to his role. The others just came and went.
Newtonin 3am Vidhi Filem Review
Though the entire story was predictable and known, it was the way the director had taken it from start to finish. While the first half involves a flashback mode and a rather practical approach to vendetta, the second half gets into momentum and the climax is handled so deftly that the audience is made to think that this could be possible. The pace of the film also is healthy and so there are no idle moments for the viewers. This should be a decent grosser at the box office.

Bharatstudent Verdict :  Same story but different presentation, a passable treat.
