Nandalala Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
A touching tale, the story begins with Baskar Mani (mysskin) who is mentally challenged and he escapes from an asylum only with one goal- to go to the village and question his mom on why she left him. On the other hand, there is the school student Aggi (ashwath) who is growing with his grandmother and discovers that his mother is there in a village. He escapes from the home in the hope of finding her. As fate would have it, both Baskar and Aggi come across each other and together, they decide to continue their journey. In between, they come across several people and various experiences and one among them is a commercial sex worker (snigdha). Even she doesn't have anyone to care for and so, she joins them in their journey. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a very heart touching tale and both the presentation and narrative were scoring. The dialogues were sensible, the script was well written and the screenplay was catchy. Background score adds to the moods and the real life and soul of the film is the songs and music. Cinematography was natural. Editing was crisp. Costumes didn't have much role while the art department was realistic. Mysskin comes up with an award winning performance and he gains sympathy from the audience. Ashwath Ram was confident and effective. Snigdha has given a highlight performance and she is seen without make up throughout the film. the seniors Rohini and Nasser made their presence felt strongly.

Conclusion:
Amidst the regular commercial entertainer, the film comes aross as a breath of fresh air. The noble intention of the makers and the performances of the cast worked really well. While the first half runs on elements of humor and some light hearted sequences, the second half is more about the sentiment and the touching sequences. This is a film meant for the mature audience and those who seek few emotional moments in the theatres. At the box office, the film has the strong potential to score success and such films need encouragement.

Bharatstudent Verdict:Emotional and sensitive, recommended
