Story: A racy entertainer, the
story begins with Ravi (prasanna) who aspires to become a businessman and is
seeking funding. In one incident, he saves Vishwanath (SPB) in a problem and on
his insistence, takes up a job at the Trust bank. Ravi also devices a fool proof
security plan for the bank. The story takes a turn when Ravi comes across a
journalist Nandini (ramya) who is divorced and is smitten by her. While spending
time with her, she gets bashed by goons and when he wakes up, there is one
Fareed (sibiraj) a criminal. He blackmails Ravi stating that the latter had
killed Nandini's ex-husband and all that is captured on camera. To resolve this,
he asks Ravi to sketch a plan to rob the Trust bank. What happens from there
forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The
director has come up with an interesting subject and though the presentation was
good, the narrative could have been better. The dialogues were alright, the
script was okay and the screenplay was good. Background score was nice but the
songs were a letdown. Cinematography was brilliant and editing was neat as well.
Costumes were splendid and the art department was rich. Prasanna has come up
with a very good performance and he handles it well. Sibiraj was equally
competent. Ramya looks ravishing and she has a sex appeal. S P Balu was
standard, Jasper was okay, Sundar was regular, Jayanth was alright, the others
didn't have much to offer. |
Conclusion: The film
seems to have touched base with a few Hollywood thrillers but then it has been
converted well to suit the taste of the Indian audience. While the first half
goes on a regular mode with the elements of romance and success, it is the
second half that has got enough twists. However, the film could have been much
better if they had cut the unwanted scenes and focused on the plot. Even few
scenes during the climax were absurd. Overall, the film might be an average fare
at the box office due to its different appeal. Bharatstudent Verdict: Different, can be
