Naan Kadavul Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
A tale without a line, the story begins on the backdrop of Kasi where an old man and his daughter come in search of a man. He is their son who has been abandoned about fourteen years ago and now the father comes to take him back home. But by then, the boy grows up to be a Aghora Sadhu and calls himself Rudran (Arya). However, on the words of his guru, he comes to his home but that does not stop him from pursuing his spiritual penance and he defies his own mother and family in this regard. He starts living with the local sadhus and leads his life near a temple. At the same place, there are a group of beggars and physically handicapped who are forced to beg due to the evil and heartless Thandav (Thamizhmani). In this process, they also tend to grab a blind girl Amsavalli (Pooja) from a train and a twist in tale occurs which gets her to the threshold of Kaala Bhairavudu. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a rather confusing tale and the truth is there is no story in this one. The narration is utterly disgusting and the presentation is somewhat okay. The dialogues are confusing, the script is written shoddily, the screenplay is somewhat okay. Music tried its best to suit the moods and so did the camera department which was able to capture the locales well. Editing was totally asleep and the other departments need no mention here. Both Arya and Pooja gave their life and soul for their roles but the truth is their characters have been etched out so weakly that they could not do much. Thamizhmani was evil enough and the rest of the physically challenged did their bit to contribute.

Conclusion:
The film by no means can be given a mark atleast given the fact that it has come from someone like Bala. The very essence of the movie is lost since there is nothing special about the aghora Sadhu or is there a message to the audience who honestly don't know what is happening on the screen. While the first half of the film passes off quickly without anything, there is nothing in the second half either leaving the viewers frustrated. With undue hype and an aimless plot, one really wonders what the film maker was trying to convey at the end. This is a major disappointment and will vanish in no time.

Bharatstudent Verdict : Terrible and mindless!!!
