Naan Kollywood Movie Review

Story: An engaging tale, the story begins with Karthik (Vijay antony) who has a disturbed childhood as he kills his mother for infidelity and spends his younger days in reformatory school. But then he is very good at academics and his dream is to become a doctor. His life takes a turn when he goes on a bus journey and that meets with an accident. His co-passenger, an aspiring medico is killed and Karthik decides to take his identity and marks sheet and fulfill his dream. He successfully manages that but then this is followed by a slew of murders. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Naan Tamil Cinema Review

Presentation: The director has come up with a engaging storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was upto the mark.  The dialogues were sensible, the script was tight to an extent and the screenplay was suitable. Background score was strong but songs were not that great. Cinematography was above average. Editing was alright. Costumes were natural while the art department was good quality. Vijay Antony has given a decent performance given his debut act. Rupa Manjari had a different role and she was good. Vibha was sensuous, Anuya was appealing. Vijay Victor was neat. The others didn’t have much scope.

Conclusion: Coming up with a thriller and that too in a debut act is not an easy task but when it is weaved with a tight screenplay and good pace the film tends to work. That is what happened with this movie. The first half takes off slowly but the film picks up energy as it progresses. The second half has got enough moments. Of course, there are those unwanted drags which bring down the tempo. Overall, this is a film which would create an impact at the box office.
