Muthukku Muthaga Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
A well knit tale, the story is about a couple (ilavarasu, saranya) who have five sons (vikranth, harish, natraj and others). Though the father has minimal earnings, he makes it a point to bring up the sons in an equal manner. Time passes by and they all grow up in their own manner. However, the story takes a turn due to a situation which challenges all of them. How each of them reacts to it and where all this takes their lives to forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a dramatic storyline and while the presentation was neat, the narrative was good. The dialogues were alright, the script was well written but the screenplay was lethargic in many places. Background score was alright but two songs were good. Cinematography was apt. Editing was adequate. Costumes were traditional while the art department was suiting the moods. Ilavarasu was matured, Saranya was competent. Vikranth was moderate and did his bit as required, Monica was sensuous and adds to the glamour, Oviya was seductive, Natraj was natural, Rajkapoor was regular, Sujibala was standard.

Conclusion:
The film runs on the important aspect of human relationship- family. While the thought of the makers is appreciated they should have focused on bringing the depth by taking the film in smooth manner. The film suffers due to the slow pace and unwanted songs. The first half goes about with the regular elements but the second half slows down in the speed and impact. Overall, this is a film which is meant for melodrama loving family audience so it could land in a safe zone.
