He targets Shankar’s sister Deepika (sharmila) and wants to eliminate her. Shankar dotes on Deepika and protects her at all times. Amidst this comes Babloo (vinay) a streetsmart youngster and he takes up a job at Shankar’s office which is managed by Chari (santhanam). The story takes a turn when Babloo and Deepika fall in love with each other and what happens after that forms the rest of the tale.

Mirattal Tamil Cinema Review

Presentation: The director has come up with a total commercial storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was engaging. The dialogues were well written, the script was more cinematic but the screenplay was apt. Background score was enjoyable and two songs are well composed. Cinematography was very soothing. Editing department did its job. Costumes were stylish and the art department was colorful. Vinay looks handsome and has given a total different performance. Sharmila Mandre looks sexy than sweet. Prabhu was upto the mark. Pradeep Rawath did his job as required. The real showstealer was none other than Santhanam with his comic timing and dialogues. Mansoor Ali Khan made his presence felt. Ganja Karuppu was not effective.

Mirattal Filem Review

Conclusion: The film happens to be the remake of the Telugu blockbuster hit Dhee which came few years back. However, the script for the remake has been tweaked a little and suited the taste of the native Tamil audience. While the first half goes about with elements of comedy and romance, the second half also has its share of humour along with few serious moments. Overall, this is a film which is meant for audience seeking time pass entertainment with not much thinking. At the box office, this will be an above average grosser.
