Kanden Kadhalai Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
A remake told deftly, the story begins with Sakthivel (bharath) who is the son of a rich industrialist but then a wrong move collapses their entire empire. Just when he is too shattered and gets into a train aimlessly, he chances upon Anjali (Tamannah). She is a total opposite and is completely full of energy and innocence. Due to a small incident, Anjali ends up missing the train and holds Sakthivel responsible for it. Given his mild nature, he commits that he would take her to her hometown Theni. On the way, various things happen and they tend to become very good friends. Once they reach Anjali's home, even the elders and the entire family are impressed with Sakthivel's behavior. However, the story takes a turn when Anjali decides to elope and get married to her lover Goutam (Munna). For this, she takes the help of Sakthivel and Anjali's family mistakes that she has eloped with Sakthivel to get married. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a remake and both the presentation and narrative have been decent. The dialogues are good, the script was sensible and the screenplay was adept. Background score gave a good impact and three songs were peppy. Cinematography was excellent, editing was neat, costumes were stylish and the art department was natural. Bharath came up with a good performance and he was the perfect fit to the mild character during the first half. Tamannah was the life and soul of the movie with her chirpy performance and not much of glam show from her this time. Ravichandran was elegant, Nizhalgal Ravi was neat, Munna was impressive, Swapan Saran was good, the real show stealer was Santhanam who gave many light moments with his dialogues and performance. The others did their bit as required.

Conclusion:
The film happens to be a remake of the Bollywood hit 'Jab We Met' and despite that, it was able to engage the attention of the audience. While the first half goes about with the lighter side of fun, comedy, romance, it is during the second half when things get serious melodramatic and emotional. Overall, the technical aspects of the film were good and the script was handled very well despite not being an original. This will go well with the family audience and the masses can wow over the locations and the screen presence of the lead pair. This could be a profit grosser.
