Kaadhalil Vizhundein Kollywood Movie Review

A tale with a twist, the story begins with Sabha (Nakul) who grows up as a child with disturbed experiences. His father happens to be a drunkard and the torture creates a major psychological impact on Sabha.  He grows up with such doubts and a slight crank in his mind but his major stress buster is his love for basketball and he happens to be a good player at it. Life goes on like this till Sabah meets with an accident due to Meera (Sunaina) who hails from a rich family. The pretty girl soon attends to him in the hospital and nurses Sabha back to health, in this process both of them start liking each other. Meanwhile, Meera has her own problem due to her uncle (Hariraj) who is just waiting to take over her entire property. Meanwhile, the love blooms and one day Sabha goes to another town for a crucial match and when he gets back, the shocking news of Meera's death hits him. He is not ready to believe this and so much so, he lands up at the hospital, takes away her body and keeps it with him. Enters Anbuselvan (Sampath), the cop who begins a chase for Sabha but in vain. Meanwhile, Sabha tries to figure out the cause for Meera's death, what happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Kaadhalil Vizhundein Tamil Cinema Review

The director has come up with a cryptic plot and the presentation and the narrative have been proficient. Though the dialogues were not upto the mark, the script was somewhat in control and the screenplay was good too. Music has become the soul for this movie and the breathtaking camerawork is another added bonus. The editing was strictly okay but the other departments have been quite effective in their work. Nakul has come up with a challenging performance and his transition from a lover boy to a man with psychological vengeance is good. Sampath is apt as the cop, Sunaina was bubbly and has shown good potential. Hari Raj  was evil enough, the others were okay.

Kaadhalil Vizhundein Filem Review

Though the film has got its own loose ends, it is the presentation and the screenplay that really kept the audience on their seat. While the first half is more on the romantic side, it is the second half that gets quite serious and some bizarre turns that leaves the audience with an impact. The music has already created a major hype and commercially this will turn out as a profitable venture. The idea of coming up with such psychological angles has become a common genre but the credit goes to the maker for making it a gripping treat.

Bharatstudent verdict : Strong and intense!!!
