Indira Vizha Kollywood Movie Review
A remake gone bad, the story is set on the office backdrop and this has the handsome Sridhar (srikanth) who happens to be the creative head of a television channel. He is happily married but then his life takes a turn with the arrival of Kamini (Namitha). She happens to be his ex-lover but now she is the wife of Sridhar's boss (Nasser). To add to the woes, just when Sridhar is expecting a sure shot promotion, he does not get that and the place is given to Kamini. From then on, trouble begins for him and hits the peak when Kamini alleges sexual harassment against him. Sridhar gets arrested and from then on, the story goes to the court. Whether he is able to prove his innocence and what Kamini does forms the rest of the story.
Indira Vizha Tamil Cinema Review
The director has attempted to come up with an erotic thriller but then his narrative has not been that good. The presentation was neat, the dialogues were not upto the mark, the script was weak and the screenplay could have been better. The music could not help much and the cinematography was useful in catching the glamour. Editing was okay and the costumes department made their presence felt. The art department was impressive. Srikanth carried out his role with elegance though his role was not etched well. Namitha was generous with her curves and body show and though she still needs to cut down on her flab, she was glamorous. Ragasiya was ravishingly seductive and so was Hemamalini who could have worked on the performance. Vivek failed to impress with his comedy while Nasser was okay. It was good to see Raghuvaran briefly on the screen.
Indira Vizha Filem Review
The film happens to be a remake of the Hollywood hit 'Disclosure' and by no mean was it matching to the grace and sensuous touch. While the first half of the movie goes about with the regular songs and romance, the second half revolves around the courtroom scenes and it culminates to a predictable climax. More than being an intense drama, the film turned out to be a parade of skin show and a competition of sorts among the leading ladies to look the most lusty. This will be a visual feast to the core front benchers but apart from that, the movie will be a dud at the box office.
