Brahmadeva Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
A tale with a twist, the story begins with two friends Eesa (ram) and Ezhil (Sanjai) who are childhood buddies but Ezhil's parents treat Eesa as their own son. However, this is not liked by the maternal aunt of Ezhil and she is keen on getting her daughter married to him. Meanwhile, Eesa is given the offer of heading the company of the family business but then he turns it down and suggests that Ezhil is the rightful heir for that. While all this is happening, there is the investigating officer Dravidan (Livingston) who is pursuing a serial murder case and his investigation leads him to Eesa. Dravidan suspects Eesa to be the killer and starts following him. Meanwhile, both Eesa and Ezhil go for a hill station trip along with friends and due to an incident, Eesa gets all worked up and attacks Ezhil. He blacks out and by the time he wakes up, he sees Ezhil battered to death. How does that happen? What is the link between Eesa and the serial murders? All this forms the rest of the story.
Brahmadeva Tamil Cinema Review
Presentation:
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and though the presentation was alright, the narrative could have been better. The dialogues were alright, the script was written okay though there were a few flaws, the screenplay was average. Music was not upto the mark but the camera department has done a good job. Editing was not as expected and the art department was amateur. Costumes were acceptable. Ram has come up with a mediocre performance in one of his dual roles, however his stunts are good and expressions at few scenes are impressive. Tejashree looks sweet and sensuous, Swathi is hot and sexy and shows lust in good way. Livingston was elegant, Shankar was graceful and brought few laughs. Sanjai and Roshan were apt as villains.

Conclusion:
The film came up with a past life aspect to it and though there is mix of scientific approach and the supernatural element, the blending could have been better if the script was handled deftly. While the first half goes about with a regular tale of bonding and affection along with the stunts, the second half gets more thrilling and with the past life element it tends to get a little different. There are sufficient treats for the mass audience and the class may not relish it that much. The attempt to come with a different story has to be appreciated though.
