Amara Kaaviyam Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
Jeeva (sathya) and Karthika (mia george) are childhood sweethearts and are attached to each other. But the problem is Jeeva’s friend Balaji (ananth nag) who corrupts the mind of both and breaks them apart. This is because he likes Karthika a lot. Life takes different turns for both Jeeva and Karthika and whether they are united once again or not forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a touching romantic storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was a letdown. The dialogues were neat. The script was average and the screenplay could have been a lot better. The background score was melodious and songs were worth watching. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was nice. Costumes were well designed and stylish while the art department was majestic. Sathya gave a confident performance in his debut and Mia George looks very sweet. Ananth Nag did his role effectively. Thambi Ramaiah was good. Elizabeth was upto the mark. Others didn’t get much to do.

Conclusion:
The idea of coming up with teenage love stories that mature with age is always heart rendering but they have to come up with enough reasoning and sensibility. This film lacked it completely. The first half revolves around elements of romance, songs and some drama while the interval bang was expected. The second half is all about connecting the dots with emotional melodrama. Overall, the film didn’t have anything new to offer for the audience to really connect. At the box office, the film does not have a chance to succeed.

Bharatstudent verdict: Not as romantic as the title
