All in All Azhagu Raja Kollywood Movie Review
A stale tale the story begins with Azhagu Raja (karthi) who owns a local TV channel and his other employee is Kalyanam (santhanam) his assistant. Despite all attempts the channel fails to run well. Meanwhile, Raja comes across Devi Priya (kajal) and though their initial encounters are rough eventually they fall in love. Then comes a flashback angle of Raja’s father (prabhu) and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.
All in All Azhagu Raja Tamil Cinema Review
The director has come up with a light hearted storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was disappointing. The dialogues were alright. The script was below average and the screenplay was not upto the mark. The background score was alright but only one song was worth watching. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was required during the second half. Costumes were well designed to suit the nativity while the art department was majestic. Karthi did his best to infuse energy into the film but it didn’t create that impact. Kajal was sweet but her role was not etched properly. Prabhu was elegant, Santhanam brought his share of smiles. M S Bhaskar was good. Saranya was standard. Radhika Apte was neat. Others did their bit as required.
All in All Azhagu Raja Filem Review
The film came in with a lot of hype given the credentials of the director and since the plot was wafer thin it hardly had any strength. The first half goes around with the elements of silly comedy, some romance, songs and the interval bang had a twist. But the second half got dragged big time and some scenes went overboard. Overall, this is a film which would have been better if the script was trimmed. At the box office, this is not going to be a successful venture.
