Vensanghu Pol Malluwood Movie Review
Story:
A dull tale, the story begins with Nandagopan (suresh) a writer and war correspondent. He is staying away from his family as he is affected with a disease and he doesn't want them to know. However, his only ambition is to see that his sister Aswathy (meera) gets married. That works out as Aswathy gets engaged to Rajeevan. But this gets Nandagopan to his home and his wife Indhu (jyothirmayi) and others are shocked looking at him. Meanwhile, Nandagopan's doctor advises him to take the advice of a doctor in RCC. He sets on journey to the capital city but goes missing. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an aimless storyline and while the presentation was poor, the narrative was routine. The dialogues were just okay, the script was below average while the screenplay was barely passable. Background score was okay and songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography was the saving grace for the film. Editing saw few scenes getting jumped. Costumes were natural while the art department was suiting the moods. Suresh Gopi does his best to infuse life into the character but in vain. Jyothirmayi is a sensuous lady so this role is rather unusual for her. Meera Nandhan was moderate. Murali's cameo is effective, Manoj K Jayan was alright, Anoop Menon was apt. The others didn't have anything to offer.

Conclusion:
Given the many problems in life that audience has, they would not want to see yet another problem onscreen. Atleast if the depiction had some emotion and a positive ending, things would have been better. However, all that was missing in this. While the first half goes about with the regular sad story, the second half continues with the woes. There is nothing gripping in the film for the audience. At the box office, the film doesn't have great chance to survive.
