Story:
A tale of affection and revenge, the story is set on the backdrop of Thodupuzha and here is Sivarajan (pasupathy) who works as a bank manager. He lives with his wife Devi (meera vasudev) and dotes on his darling daughter Vairamani (dhanya) who is in her plus two. The story takes a turn when Vairamani doesn't come home after the last day of her exam and the next day, the police inform that she is dead. Later, Sivarajan discovers that his daughter was actually molested and killed. That brings out the devil in him and he decides to take revenge on those responsible. That lands him in jail for life term but a story by journo Annie (samvrutha) along with few good hearted men gives a ray of hope as they are keen on getting him out. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a hard hitting storyline but then the theme was predictable. The presentation was alright and the narrative was also racy. Dialogues were suitable, the script was average and the screenplay was apt. Music was good and there are three songs that can be taken home, cinematography captured the locales very well. Editing was quite crisp. Costumes were natural and the art department was impressive. Pasupathy came up with a gripping performance and he deserves an award for this one. Suresh Gopi was brief but his presence made a mark, Thilakan was effective, Mukesh was standard, Dhanya was decent, Meera was matured, Saikumar and K P A C Lalitha were upto the mark. Samvrutha Sunil was decent. The others didn't have much to offer.

Conclusion:
The film must be appreciated for coming up with a known storyline but still managing to keep the audience engaged. The credit for that goes to the technical aspects and some gripping performances by the key characters. While the first half goes about with the regular dose of light hearted moments, the second half gets serious and though there are few scenes which take you to a commercial masala treat, overall the film has managed to keep the audience busy. This will fetch decent returns for the makers.
