Thrill Malluwood Movie Review

Story:
A lifeless tale, the story is about Rahul (Satya) who is a happy go lucky guy and life is going on very smooth for him until the jaws of twisted fate catch him. Suddenly, Rahul's life takes a turn when his family meets with a terrible accident and he is left with no one but his sister who makes it through the accident but then loses her sight. Now, Rahul's only mission in life is to get her sister back to vision and for this he has to mobilize money. In this process he comes across three girls (Pooja Vijayan, Shraddha, Prajoosha) who also sail in the same boat with a tragic background of theirs and together all four of htem hatch a plan. They decide to ransack the van that is coming from the bank and after carefully executing the plan, they are successful in looting the bank money. But now a new circle inspector Aneesh Thampan (Anoop Kumar) is given the task of nabbing the culprits and he starts hunting them down like a wild dog. What happens in the end? Is Rahul successful in his goal? Will Aneesh get to his culprits? What happens to the three girls? All this forms the rest of the story.

Thrill Malayalam Cinema Review

Presentation:

The director came out with a good idea but then he failed miserably in conceiving it on the screen, the presentation was pathetic and the narration was nasty. All departments failed this time with a poor script, lackluster screenplay, numb editing, dull music and equally poor camerawork. The subject had nothing to take the audience along with them. Even the cast was no good with Satya Prakash coming out with a terrible performance while the three girls were simply plastic faced and went blank most of the times when the camera was rolling. The only saving grace for the movie is the role by Anoop who managed to get few points as the cop. The others need no mention here.

Conclusion:
While it gets a bit exciting to hear that three girls and one guy who form a gang, it takes real skill to get it on the screen with that kind of impact. The entire length of the movie has its own pace and momentum which has no connection with the audience and added to the woes, the repeated flashback of sob stories and sentiments really makes the viewers impatient. Though the title sounds appealing, there was not a second of a shock value in it. The film is a sure flop at the box office.
