Seniors Malluwood Movie Review
Story:
An interesting tale, the story begins with four friends Pappu alias Padmanabhan, Idikkula, Rex and Munna (played by Jayaram,Biju menon,Kunchakko and Manoj k Jayan respectively) who decide to go to college after a gap of 12 years to complete their degree. Apparently, Pappu has been in jail for 12 years since an incident happened at the college festival. Now, he is supported by his friends who take a break from their job and join the college. However, surprise awaits them in the campus. What happens in their new journey forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was effective, the narrative was impressive. The dialogues were witty, the script was written without much flaws and the screenplay was tight. Background score was better and two songs were the highlight. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was required during the second half. Costumes were trendy while the art department was appealing. Manoj K Jayan was interesting, Jayaram entertained with few one-liners, Kunchacko Boban was matured but the best among the lot is Biju Menon with his timing and body language. Padmapriya looks sensuous as usual, Suraj was hilarious, Siddhique was standard, Vijayaraghavan was good.

Conclusion:
The film comes across with an unusual subject and though it may not be practical, it was convincing enough to the viewers. While the first half goes about with the elements of comedy, romance and drama, it is the second half that gets interesting due to the twisted plot and the eventual climax. There were few hiccups here and there but overall, it got covered up with some fine performances and the pace. At the box office, this has strong chances of scoring above average collections.
