Pulliman Malluwood Movie Review
Story:
A tale set on the backdrop of a village, it begins with the singer Kunjunni (mani) who is an orphan but the darling of the villagers. So much that they don't wake up or go to bed without listening to his songs. On the other hand, there is Kaalan Vasu (ponvannan) who is loathed for his womanizing activities. The story takes a turn with the arrival of a gypsy troupe and Kunjunni falls for the innocent looking Radha (meera). However, Vasu has his eyes on her but he lets her go as Kunjunni requests him. To add to it, Vasu decides to get them both married as Radha's father doesn't agree for their affair. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Pulliman Malayalam Cinema Review
Presentation:
The director has come up with a boring plot and both the presentation and narration are pathetic. The dialogues were amateur, the script was weak and the screenplay was patchy. Background scored failed to impress but two songs were worth taking home. The saving grace was the cinematography with apt capturing of locations and good frames. Editing was not proper and it was a big flop. Costumes were another major flaw and art department was neat. Kalabhavan has done his role with ease and had no hitches, Ponvannan was the one to watch out for, Meera was alright, Mukesh was good, Innocent was average. The others didn't have much space but then they made their presence felt.

Conclusion:
The film has got a rather flimsy storyline and that's where things go wrong. While the first half is all about the melodrama and larger than life sentiments, the second half goes about with unrealistic and unbelievable sequences. Also, the visual appeal got greatly affected due to the flashy costumes which looked freaky. Overall, the film has very few positives to score at the box office. The only takers could be the B and C center folks and that too the front benchers. This will sink at the box office mostly.
