Ninnishtam Ennishtam 2 Malluwood Movie Review
An outdated tale, the story is set on the backdrop of the Padmanabha Swamy temple and here is Sreekumar (suresh) who keeps coming across a girl (sunitha) very frequently. In no time, he falls in love with her. Meanwhile, she happens to be the daughter of a famous singer (Priya). While the love story is successful, there comes a villain (johnny) who begins to cause trouble to the love birds. As usual, the hero decides to confront the villain and what happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Ninnishtam Ennishtam 2 Malayalam Cinema Review
The director has come up with a thoughtless storyline and while the presentation was poor, the narrative was routine. The dialogues were weak, the script was below average while the screenplay was barely passable. Background score was okay and only two songs were upto the mark. Cinematography was regular. Editing saw few scenes getting jumped. Costumes were natural while the art department was suiting the moods. Suresh Kumar does his bit as required and made his presence felt. Sunitha was there for the glamour part and romance. Priya was sensuous though she has aged. Johnny was mean. Jagathy was regular, Santhakumari was standard, Kalaranjani was okay, Mukesh was moderate, Sreenivasan was usual.
Ninnishtam Ennishtam 2 Filem Review
The film happens to be the sequel to the yesteryears hit with the same title which had Mohanlal in the lead. However, there is a huge difference between this and that. While the first half goes about with the regular elements of romance, songs and action, the second half gets a bit sentimental and melodramatic with the routine climax. Overall, the film fails to catch any attention due to poor handling of the subject and a weak script. At the box office, the chances of success are very unlikely.
