Story: A stale tale, the story is set on the backdrop of the
small village called Thirunellai near Palghat. Here live two friends Lekshmi
(vidya) and Parvathy (bhama), the two Brahmin girls who are inseparable. So much
that even they wear the same color dress in the middle of the night. The story
takes a turn when they join a music academy and fall for the teacher Devanand
(vineeth). However, Parvathy ends up in bed with him and becomes pregnant. She
escapes from the village for obvious reasons but is shocked to know that
Devanand's marriage is happening with Lekshmi. What happens from there forms the
rest of the story.

Presentation: The director has
come up with a pre-historic storyline and though the presentation was good, the
narrative was not upto the mark. The dialogues were predictable, the script was
stale and the screenplay was average. Background score was somewhat okay but
songs didn't help much. Cinematography was neat. Editing was alright. Costumes
were done well and the art department was impressive. Vidya looks sensuous and
she has carried out her role with grace. Bhama was a lucky one as she got a
strong character driven role. Vineeth was enjoying the company of the two
beauties and he did his bit as required, Anoop Menon was a misfit, the trio of
Harisree Asokan, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Anoop Chandran could not deliver the
laughs. The others did their bit as required.

Conclusion: The film runs on
rather illogical sequences and the storyline is something which the audience has
seen thousand times. While the first half goes about with the elements of
bonding and few bizarre emotions, the second half goes with the regular
sentimental overdose and the climax is really stale and takes the life out of
the film. Overall, there is nothing in the film that will appeal to any genre of
audience. At the box office, it is very difficult for the film to
survive. Bharatstudent
