Story: An outdated tale the story begins with Mani (kalabhavan) along with his friends (harisree asokan, anand, kiran raj) who work for an MLA (vijayaraghavan). Mani is a gutsy guy and can do anything for his leader. He thinks the MLA is doing everything good for the public. In this process, he ends up killing a journalist and his entire group lands in jail for eight years. It is here that he discovers how he and his friends were used. After coming out, Mani vows revenge and in this process, he is helped by a honest cop (siddhique) and another person (lena). What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The director has come up with a predictable storyline and while the presentation was regular, the narrative was lacking depth. The dialogues were routine. The script was meek and the screenplay was unimpressive. Background score was good and two songs were good. Cinematography was upto the mark. Editing was required at many places. Costumes were regular while the art department didn’t have much to do. Kalabhavan Mani was all over the film and showed his versatility, Nikhitha was okay, Siddique was standard, Nedumudu Venu was natural, Salim Kumar was suitable, Harisree Asokan was apt, Anand was usual, Lena was sensuous but good.

Conclusion: The first thing the makers should understand is by bringing a hero of amazing talent, any story will not run. There needs to be some creativity and some variety for the audience to relish. This is a typical formula flick with nothing new and that’s why there was nothing else for the audience except appreciate Kalabhavan Mani’s antics. While the first half was usual, the second half has many illogical sequences. At the box office, the film has nothing special to score success.
