Story: An interesting
tale, the story begins with Balu (jayaram) who starts an event
management company but runs into huge losses. So much that he is forced
to enter stealthily into his home in the night so that the creditors
don't catch him. To add to the woes, Soorya (sheela) who is madly in
love with Balu runs away from her home and comes to Balu so he has to
take care of her as well. A twist in the tale gets Balu- Soorya to Kichu
(suraj) and he manages to give them a hotel room which is allocated for
a new heroine of a film. However, one thing leads to another and Soorya
ends up becoming the new heroine while Balu has no choice but to become
her personal makeup man. What happens from there forms the rest of the
story. |
Presentation: The
director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the
presentation was simple, the narrative was good. The dialogues were
witty, the script was well written and the screenplay was average.
Background score was dull and songs were not upto the mark.
Cinematography is apt. Editing was just okay. Costumes were trendy while
the art department had a rich effect. Jayaram comes up with a standard
performance and nothing extra from him. Sheela looks sensuous and she
scores the brownie points. Suraj Venjaramoodu was good. The cameos from
Prithviraj and Kunchacko Boban were just okay. Jagathy was passable,
Salim Kumar was usual. |
Conclusion: The film
comes up with a good proportion of comedy, romance and light moments but
it is the sentimental sequences which bring down the momentum. While
the first half passes off breezily with good humor, it is the second
half which gets dragged due to unwanted melodrama and tests the patience
of the audience. Overall, the film leaves the viewer with a feel good
factor and this will appeal to the fun loving audience and family
audience. At the box office, this has chances of becoming a profit
grosser. Bharatstudent Verdict: Time pass entertainer, can be watched once |
