Kutty Sranku Malluwood Movie Review
Story:
A rather interesting voyage, the story begins with a dead body lying near a canoe of a middle aged man. Three women come rushing to identify the person and it is revealed that each of them have been a part of this man's life at one point of time, his name is Kutty Sranku (Mammootty). Firstly, there is Revamma (padmapriya) whose lover is killed by her father and is helped by Sranku, she rebukes Sranku for his act and pleads with him to drop her at the boat to Gaya as she wants to embrace Buddhism. Then, there is Pemmana (kamalini) who falls for Sranku at the first sight and offers herself to him without hesitation, since then, she pleads with Sranku to drop his anchor near her place, her desperation for him is strong. Lastly, there is the fearsome Kali (meena) who at one point fears Sranku since he comes to kill her but a twist of fate makes her bring him back to life. So, is Kutty Sranku really dead? Who among the three own him? All this forms the rest of the story.
Kutty Sranku Malayalam Cinema Review
Presentation:
The director has come up with a thought provoking storyline and both his presentation and narrative were gripping. The dialogues were deep, the script had many layers and the screenplay was marvelous. Background score adds to the moods while two songs were okay. Cinematography is the real hero of the film. Editing was neat. Costumes were apt and the art department was amazing. Mammootty as always steals the show by portraying three very different facets of his personality, he was awesome. Padmapriya looks naturally seductive and is impressive, Kamalini looks steaming hot and the lust in her eyes gives a kick to the audience, Meena was more the performer than the looker. Siddique was standard and Suresh Krishna was good.

Conclusion:
The film deals with a rather complex layer of the human being and how a wanderer leaves behind his presence and brings a change in the lives of the people he meets. While the entire story runs on a flashback mode, it was sequenced clearly without any confusion. However, given the depth of the plot, the film may leave few with questions on their first view. It will take another round to get it correctly. This is not a film for commercial or the fun loving audience, this is more of a quality cinema that satisfies the content based viewers. This is more of an award winning movie so box office may turn out to be an above average grosser.

Bharatstudent Verdict: Interesting voyage, recommended to watch twice for clarity
