Story: An amateur tale, the story begins with Josettan (vijayaraghavan) a film producer who is going through a very bad time. His fortune changes when Haritha (kriti kapoor) the heroine he introduced is a superstar and she decides to give her dates to him. Josettan manages to convince Ravi Prakash (ashokan) the superstar to give his dates as well. But Ravi Prakash has something else in mind and in the middle of the project he backs out. Left in the lurch, Josettan is in a fix and in comes Sajan (anoop) a still photographer who doesn’t know how to act. Josettan takes it up as a challenge to prove that he can make a star out of Sajan. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The director has come up with a predictable storyline and while the presentation was below average, the narrative was a major letdown. The dialogues were written without depth. The script was lacking any strength and the screenplay was shoddy. Background score was good but the songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography did its bit as required. Editing was okay. Costumes were suiting the requirement while the art department was adequate. Vijayaraghavan was alright in his performance, Anoop Menon did his best but his character lacked strength, Kriti Kapoor looks pretty and efficient but her talent was not used properly. Ashokan was upto the mark. Nandu was natural, Zeenath was impressive.

Conclusion: Attempting to come up with a movie that runs on a satirical flavour is a good thought but it requires some strong storyline with an engaging screenplay. Since most of the theme is familiar it would have been wise if the makers focused on bringing some innovation and variety to the script. While the first half goes about with the regular elements and looked a bit okay the second half was disappointing. The climax is better not discussed here. At the box office, the film doesn’t have much scope to score success.
